Although you’ll experience smoother skin and notice hair loss after this first session, the hair will return, so be sure to follow the recommended amount of sessions to achieve your desired results. Laser hair removal generally requires 5-10 treatments to achieve ideal results. The actual number of treatments is determined during your consultation based on your hair growth, hair type/color, and the specific area treatment. Your appointments should be spaced 4 weeks apart for treatment of the face and 6 weeks apart for treatment on the body.
You will need to avoid tanning beds, self-tanning products, and sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment. You should also avoid using exfoliating active ingredients on your treatment area for at least 3 days prior to your appointment. Please shave the area within 1 – 2 days before coming in for treatment.
